Capabilities plus credential status in one call — the configuration form
is entirely data-driven from this, which is the anti-if (provider === 'twilio') device. Templates are required for Pronto, optional for
Twilio, and impossible for Vonage.
credentialSource: "carrier" means SMS is riding the voice
integration’s credentials rather than a standalone set.
